A medical spa is like a cross between a medical clinic and a regular spa. Medical aesthetics is a subspecialty of medicine involving non-surgical treatments for various anti-aging or cosmetic treatments of the face or body.

They can involve the use of prescription skin creams or injectables. Other treatments can include fat removal, the PRP Facial and vaginal rejuvenation services like the MonaLisa Touch™.

What is a PRP Facial?

This cutting edge procedure uses Platelet Rich Plasma, also known as PRP, to produce smoother and tighter skin. The PRP Facial uses your body’s own healing agents to stimulate skin recovery and create better-looking skin.

The PRP is injected into various parts of the face, which stimulates collagen growth, giving you a more youthful glow.

What Kinds of Injectables Does a Medical Spa Offer?

Ciao Bella Medical Center and Spa offers two main types of injectables: relaxers and fillers. Relaxers, like BOTOX®, temporarily paralyze the facial muscles that cause wrinkles.

Dermal fillers, such as Juvederm®, fill in lines or creases, and they can also add volume to skin. Dermal fillers can therefore plump up thin lips or fill in hollow cheeks.
